Chief Minister confers Birla award on Dr Singhal



Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan conferred Rameshwar Birla National Award on famous neurologist of India Dr. Bhimsen Singhal here on Saturday. Commerce & Industries Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya was also present at the 27th Rameshwar Birla National Award ceremony organised by Bombay Hospital Trust.

Chouhan said that not only privileged class, Bombay Hospital also treats poor people with equal efficiency. He said that honourable Rameshwar Birla was not only an industrialist but also a dedicated social worker. He believed in the service of human beings. Not only in India's independence, Birla also gave his optimum contribution in making the country industrially developed.

Chouhan extended hearty greetings to Dr. Bhimsen Singhal for receiving the 27th Rameshwar Birla National Award. He said that Dr. Singhal is such physician whose mere tough heals patients. His students are counted among expert doctors.

Chouhan also expressed gratitude towards Bombay Hospital Trust Chairman Bharat Tapadia for donating Rs 10 lakh to Chief Minister's Relief Fund on behalf of the trust. The Chief Minister regretted that still now doctors refuse to be posted in rural areas.
